Why Not?

Throughout the years, there have been mixed messages publicized about risks, if any, associated with use of tobacco. I was born in 1953 and when I was a kid, lots of people smoked, and stores sure did sell my friends cigarettes. Although at $00.35 per pack, it costed over a buck to get 3 packs of smokes, which might last a day or two. They mad cigarettes that you could pinch and expel into the filter some apparent liquid which would filter out any bad elements of burning tobacco. Before they figured out how to sell no flavor “lite” smokes that people thought were OK. They still think they’re OK. If you go to your local Greyhound Bus station you will see a pretty representative sampling of the people who support big tobacco industries. Wait until someone in England gets a judgment against L&M. Do they still make M&Ms? Spread the word. The word is love.

Anyhow, good cigarettes were sold as safe to little kids. There is fault all over the place. The question is whether little kids would smoke if nobody sold tobacco products to them. And are little kids accountable for their own behaviour, just as when they run into the path of a car? Or climb too high in a tree and you have to use a helicopter to rescue them?

Traditional Native American Indians share a smoke before taking the gamble and making the trip to North Dakota where they will live pathetic lives together before dying of smoking-related illnesses at a young age.
