Since graduating from Law School in 1979, I have lived at the following:

1. Merrill Apartments, Lake Blvd, St. Joe, overlooking the lake.

2. House in St. Joe, overlooking the St. Joe River.

3. Crummy apartment in GR

4. Current home on Robinson Road.

5. Condo in Tucson.

And I am still alive. Many people I have known have died.

In 2007 I had about 1/3 of each lung surgically removed. Now it hurts to cough, and I have bumps on my chest, but am doing much better as a general rule. When I get sick, I stay sick for weeks, so I try to stay healthy.

We are getting ready to sell our home in EGR so that soon won’t count. Yea! I really don’t think that Michigan is much of a state to call home anymore. I want to do a film documentary starting with Gary Indiana, through Benton Harbor, Battle Creek, Detroit, Flint, and ending up in Sault St. Marie, to show how the state flourishes. Why remake it? Just pack it up and head out. That’s my motto.
