Ok, the Led Zeppelin joke is that on III the song “When the Levee Breaks” which is such an awsome song! But it isn’t on II, it’s on III. So that’s the subtle joke. Sorry for the shallowness of my humor sometimes.

I like Led Zeppelin II

These are not all that different.

But this was the Tsnunami.

This is America.

No one can tell us what to do.

Maybe we should listen to what our planet is telling us

Maybe we should just move everyone out to California, the site of our last disaster of this scale.Someone on the radio mentioned the rebuilding of Atlanta, but I think that that would be a piece of cake compared to this.

There’s room in the northwestern States.

Mark Fuhrman chose Idaho.

Do you know any people in Idaho?

I do. Don’t you? People in Idaho?

Don’t you want to chose Idaho?

Okay. Bar Bush has taken her stand on the effects of the disaster in New Orleans. She feels that any place any of the refugees may end up in would have to be better than the worst ghettos in the nation. I am not sure whether she was aware that they lost everything they had, and had no money now and had no job now and had no home now but had a mortgage.

On the other hand, did you know that in 2004 a new Bankruptcy Code was passed, and it was supposed to go into effect in late 2005. Apparently there is to be a moratorium on that for the victims of Catrina, the bad hurricane in Louisiana. Have you ever been to New Orleans? I never got the chance, and now will never have the chance. Does anyone believe that the government is going to build individual homes to replace the shacks destroyed by a flood? So either they build massive housing projects or find areas for the evacuees to move where they can become assimilated with their new surroundings. Grand Rapids had asked for a bunch, but got few. I am glad. People should be sent where there are jobs and growth, which is the west coast, excepting the parts which are subject to earthquakes and/or flooding, which makes Arizona a seaside state. Maybe the Grand Canyon will fill up with water! Now, that would be a lot of water - maybe it would let parts of California avoid being stranded under water. We know that an earthquake will eventually hit the west coast. We knew that eventually a level 5 hurricane would hit New Orleans and that would cause a flood and the city would flood and everything would turn out just like it did turn out.

Or is the government supposed to immediately create a method to prevent flooding, etc. as sea levels rise. Are we to evacuate the state of Florida because at some time the waters of the sea will cover the state?

And on the third hand here, think of how much work could be done if the money funding the war in Iraq were instead being literally turned for our borders and nation?

Ok, long winded to show you this. Here is an actual photo of Barbara Bush advising the ghettovacuees of their good fortunes.

So anyhow, now you know how the upper crust feel the pain of the ghetto dweller. I will post a songlist for those who want to hear about growing up in the ghettos. And when you think of how much better those ghettos are than some places, most places, in the world, it is sort of scary. Americans can’t see things in a historical perspective.

I lived down the street, or up the highway, from Granny until I was about 45 and she was 98. Did you know that Granny died on Molly’s birthday? Granny made it past Christmas, and then committed suicide by carbon monoxide in her garage. Apparently at one point she had to get out and use the bathroom. She had just had a stroke.

During the flooding’s aftermath there were many discussions regarding what name to use when referring to the people who were trying to get shelter, food and water. The question was whether to call them evacuees or refugees. Jesse Jackson took a stand on the issue. Have you ever met Jesse Jackson? Who is the most famous person you met? I saw JFK in Chicago when I was a kid. It was awsome. And in the movie about the war in Viet Nam by Stan Kubric, RIP, we are given the answer to the most complex question which arose during the initial race for food and water.

If we move the Vietnamese they are evacuees.

If they come to us to be evacuated, they are refugees.”

So, we have an answer to that one. They all must have been evacuees since they didn’t have the gas money to drive up to the Hampton Inn in Tennessee.

Ok, it is April ‘06 and The Hammer has just quit. Can’t touch this. Iraq is falling apart, W is way down in the polls, and we are starting to get geared up for the ‘08 elections already. I continue to receive mail from W and email from the Dems.
