In order : Great Hroned Owl; fluffing hawk; female cardinal

This is either a Prairie falcon or a Merlin. But - 1) note yellow colored legs, and 2) see the tag on the right leg?

Hawk of some sort, here daily now.
You can see the difference between this and the one above on the page on its chest feathers and tail feathers. Maybe this is a better shot:

Is that too big? I don’t know the kind of hawk, but it is a large bird (but the owl was bigger).
Here is the roadrunner I am trying to capture and housebreak:

I spotted this bird with no tail feathers, but he is gone now. I suspect fowl play. Well, I will have to find the picture . . .
